I approached this film with minimal knowledge of what it was I was about to see. I only knew three things for sure: it is based on a book, there is a Swedish version that came out in 2009, and that a girl rapes a guy with a dildo. That being said I absolutely loved the film. From what I’ve been able to tell, most people love the book, and by extension of that, the film(s), because of the main character Lisbeth. I have to say she was quite the character, unique enough to be memorable and awesome enough to help keep interest in the plot; that being said I really found myself more drawn into the story of Mikael trying to find the killer of young Harriet.

Good news everyone! Futurama has been approved for two new seasons of 13 episodes each, meaning we are guaranteed at least 26 new episodes of Futurama after this current season ends. This is great news for me seeing as Futurama is my favorite show of all time. Now not everyone will agree with me, saying Family Guy or The Simpsons is better, but I can tell you this: there has never been an episode of Futurama that I did not like. I have heard a few people say the new season isn’t as good as the previous seasons. For me the new season has been awesome, I’ve loved every thing that’s been done with the new seasons, but I think I know the problem some fans are having with the new season. As I said before I’ve never seen an episode of Futurama that I did not like. Well with the new season you can pick out one or two episodes where you can say ‘that wasn’t good.’ Before every episode of Futurama was gold, but now we will be handed one or two episodes a season that aren’t up to par with the usual standards. I blame the five-year gap between cancelation and revival for this, and I’m sure that it’ll go away after the writers get back into their groove. Personally I’ve still never seen a truly bad Futurama episode, but I will admit one or two of the current season were a tad subpar. Anyway…
